How to Find Us

The nearest crossing from the mainland is by the Lymington (Hants) ferry to Yarmouth (Wightlink), but there are also crossings from Southampton to Cowes (Red Funnel) and Portsmouth to Ryde (Wightlink).

From Yarmouth follow signs to Freshwater, then signs to Freshwater Bay. Arriving at the bay, turn right at the ‘T’ junction and follow the road (Gate Lane) a few hundred yards. The road will take you past the bay and veer to the right. Continue on this road and take the third turning on the right, opposite Dimbola Lodge, into The Square.

Take the first left and then the first entrance drive on the left. The sign on the fence reads "Hobby-Horse Cottage formerly Milton Cottage".
